In Memory of Ava ~ Super Princess ~

This post is in memory of Ava so that she will
Never. Be. Forgotten.

On this day two years ago, the world lost it's original Super Princess, Ava Rosemeyer.

Upon hearing about Ava on her mummy, Sheye's blog, I instantly knew that this little girl was special and that her story was going to bring a lot of good to a lot of people. It warmed my heart to see so many people show compassion for Ava's family and how they have been so supportive of them. That is when I truly realized what the blogging community has to offer and I decided I was truly happy to be a part of it.

Because of Ava, I have also learned to cherish the time that I have with my loved ones. This isn't always easy to do, especially when my three year old is showing her "spirit" as she tends to do so often. But thinking of Ava always reminds me how lucky I am to have another day with my daughter and that thought makes these moments easier to manage.

I hope that more parents will learn Ava's Rule and teach it to their children.

Ava was very fond of anything princess-like, especially pink.
I took this picture last month and I knew I wanted to post it but didn't know when or why. I am dedicating this picture of pink gerber daisies to Ava. If you are interested in posting a blog in Ava's memory and would like to use this picture please email me and I'll gladly send it to you.

That is so heartbreaking. My heart aches for those poor parents. I can't even imagine. I am keeping them in my prayers.

Beautiful tribute Desiree. Breaks my heart every time I think of Ava. I have her picture Ava with Wings hanging in my daughter's room and I couldn't look at it for the first week or two after I hung it.

Much love from NJ,
Sue
